Job OverviewThe Director of Frontend Engineering leads a high-performing team focused on building scalable and efficient web applications.Key Responsibilities:Own and evolve the frontend architecture and component strategy to drive business growth.Manage a team of 10+ frontend engineers and managers to deliver high-quality React/Next.js applications.Develop architecture documents, design specs, and implementation plans for executive review.Align architecture and delivery roadmaps with data, machine learning, and API teams to ensure seamless collaboration.Establish best practices for CI/CD automation, testing, observability, and release automation.Requirements:6+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership managing 10+ engineers.Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, or similar modern frameworks.Demonstrated success in building and operating large-scale frontend platforms.Strong foundation in CI/CD automation and frontend observability.Proven ability to write architecture docs and run design reviews.Bonus Qualifications:Design-system implementation, server-side rendering/Static Site Generation optimization, Real User Measurement analytics.Experience with real-time frontends (websockets, live data).Familiarity with Vercel, CloudFront, and modern deployment pipelines.
