About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our web development team.Job DescriptionPocket FM is a leading audio entertainment platform that offers a wide range of content in multiple languages. Our platform has millions of monthly active users and a large creator community. We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to help us build high-performance, scalable, and intuitive web applications.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive web applications.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.Own the end-to-end delivery process, from technical design to deployment and monitoring.Optimize applications for speed, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern web frameworks and tools.Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and resolve them proactively.Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.Requirements:4–6 years of experience in frontend development with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and modern web ecosystems.Experience with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.Solid understanding of web performance, browser rendering, and SEO best practices.Strong problem-solving skills with a good grasp of data structures and algorithms.Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, etc.Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.A good sense of UX/UI and attention to detail.
