Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with strong automation expertise to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and lead automated testing efforts using Python and the PyTest framework. This role involves creating robust test strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA efforts by creating comprehensive test strategies, plans, and metrics for multiple projects.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python/PyTest and Selenium for functional and regression testing.
  • Review and enhance existing automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct test design reviews, execute tests, analyze results, and report findings with clear metrics and actionable insights.
  • Track and manage defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing test strategies, test design, reviews, reporting, and metrics .
  • Strong knowledge of Python and PyTest Framework (must-have).
  • Practical experience with Selenium for UI automation.
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams and mentor peers.
