We are looking for experienced QA professionals to ensure the reliability, stability, and readiness of complex systems. You will focus on strategic QA practices such as exploratory testing, risk analysis (FMEA), and resilience validation - all within the scope of normal QA responsibilities. You'll work with cloud and on-prem microservices, APIs, and databases to make sure releases are smooth, stable, and well-documented.

Depending on your experience, you may also lead quality initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory testing to identify gaps that standard test scripts may miss.
  • Conduct risk-based analysis (FMEA) to prioritize testing for critical modules.
  • Validate APIs and microservices in cloud/hybrid environments (AWS/GCP + On-Prem).
  • Review release notes, runbooks, and operational documents for clarity and completeness.
  • Analyze incidents and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring issues.
  • Support high availability and disaster recovery validation through scenario-based testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, automation testers, and SREs to ensure high-quality releases.
  • For Lead roles: Mentor QA team members and define QA/testing strategy across systems.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 6 - 12 years of QA/testing experience.
  • Good understanding of microservices-based applications and familiarity with cloud/hybrid deployments (AWS/GCP + On-Prem).
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.).
  • Experience in testing SQL and NoSQL databases. Examples: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, Clickhouse.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Helm, or similar deployment environments (advantageous).
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Graylog, Datadog).
  • Familiarity with performance testing and resilience testing concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership/mentoring skills for candidates aiming at Technical Lead roles.
