The consultant must also be able to validate daily backups, maintain DR replication status, perform DB patching and revision upgrades, analyze slow queries, and document DB service requests.The consultant is expected to have expertise in SAP HANA DB architecture and tools, Oracle DB 11g/12c administration, OS (Linux and Windows Server), backup solutions (Commvault, Azure Backup Vault, AWS Snapshots), and monitoring (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, ServiceNow Events).A certification in SAP HANA DB or Oracle Certified Associate is preferred. Two to fifteen years of experience in DB administration supporting SAP environments is required.Key skills and qualifications for this role are:Database administrationSAP HANA and Oracle database managementDB performance optimizationBackup and recovery strategiesMonitoring and alert managementThis position involves working closely with the SAP Basis and Infra teams to resolve DB issues and optimize resources.
