Job DescriptionAt Tritonium, we're pushing the boundaries of AI-powered SaaS platforms. We've created a platform that transforms app store reviews into actionable insights for mobile product teams.Our backend processes millions of reviews, runs them through AI analysis pipelines, and delivers real-time alerts and intelligence to customers worldwide. We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help scale our platform and build the infrastructure that powers the next generation of product intelligence.Key Responsibilities:Design scalable backend services that process high volumes of data reliably and efficiently.Develop and optimize event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing pipelines.Build APIs that power our dashboard, integrations, and external developer SDKs.Implement robust data storage patterns for multi-tenant SaaS, ensuring performance, security, and isolation.Collaborate with the ML/AI team to integrate AI capabilities into production systems efficiently.Design monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure high availability and rapid incident response.Contribute to security best practices including authentication, authorization, and secure credential management.Participate in architecture decisions and establish engineering standards as the team grows.Debug and resolve production issues across distributed systems.Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of backend engineering experience, with significant work on production systems at scale.Strong proficiency in Python or similar backend languages.Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architectures.Solid understanding of NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues, and asynchronous processing patterns.Understanding of security fundamentals: authentication, encryption, secrets management.Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a fully remote environment.Preferred Skills:Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.Experience integrating with third-party APIs and OAuth flows.Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.Experience with billing systems and subscription management.Background in processing text data or working alongside ML/NLP systems.Familiarity with observability tools and distributed tracing.Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering culture.Why Join Tritonium?Work on interesting challenges: high-volume data processing, AI integration, real-time alerting.Join a small team where your architectural decisions shape the platform's future.Enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of a fully remote position with competitive compensation.Build infrastructure that helps thousands of product teams understand their users better.Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and relevant projects or contributions to hello@tritonium.com with 'Remote Senior Backend Engineer Application' as the subject line.Tritonium is committed to diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
