Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying high-performance AI systems that empower subject matter experts to automate their most complex work.Key ResponsibilitiesAI Product Development: Develop and maintain large language models (LLMs) and other AI-enabled products that meet our business requirements.High-Performance Search and RAG: Design and optimize data indexing, ranking, and query processing systems for fast and accurate search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Evaluation Frameworks: Create robust frameworks to evaluate the performance of our AI agents, RAG systems, and LLMs.Qualifications and Skills1-3 years of experience in software engineering or end-to-end data science with strong proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.Strong background in distributed AI agents, data systems, or machine learning engineering.Experience with modern Python microservices, FastAPI, Ray.IO, Kubernetes orchestration, gRPC inter-service communication, and Google Cloud Pub/Sub event streaming.Familiarity with AI Agent Stack: LlamaIndex, LangGraph, SmolAgent, Instructor, Anthropic, OpenAI, Qdrant, ParadeDB, Sentence-Transformers, FAISS.Recent experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging LLMs, building RAG systems, or working with vector databases.Our Team and CultureJoin a rapidly growing startup with a high-performance engineering culture that emphasizes personal accountability, autonomy, learning, and growth.Work with experienced founders who lead by design-centric approach, market analysis, user research, and scientific thinking.
