You will assist in aligning personnel and resources with project needs while maintaining an accurate overview of resource availability and capacity. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and has a keen interest in resource management and project coordination.Key Responsibilities:1. Resource Allocation:- Assist in determining project resource needs based on project scope and requirements.- Support the allocation of staff to projects and monitor their utilization effectively.2. Data Management:- Maintain and update resource management databases via Workfront, including staffing levels, skills inventory, and project assignments.- Help prepare reports on resource utilization and availability for senior PM leaders.3. Communication:- Liaise with project managers to understand resource requirements and project timelines when new intake has been initiated.- Facilitate communication between team members to support resource understanding and project needs.4. Scheduling and Coordination:- Assist in creating and managing schedules for personnel, ensuring availability aligns with project timelines.- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for resources as necessary for resource management and the rollout of Workfront.5. Support on Resource Planning:- Participate in resource planning meetings and contribute insights regarding potential challenges and opportunities.- Assist in developing long-term resource strategies to improve resource utilization.6. Monitoring and Reporting:- Help track project progress and resource performance metrics.- Prepare regular updates and reports for project managers and senior management, highlighting resource-related issues.7. Administrative Tasks:- Assist in maintaining documentation related to resource management processes.8. Continuous Improvement:- Identify areas of improvement in resource management processes and tools.- Collaborate with colleagues to implement best practices in resource management.Qualifications:- Some experience in project management, resource management, or HR is preferred but not required.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with resource management software is a plus.- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
