About our organization, a world leader in thread manufacturing and structural components for apparel and footwear.We provide critical solutions for safety, protection, data and the environment.Our heritage spans over 250 years, with operations across 50 countries and a workforce of over 17,000 serving our customers worldwide.We cater to both current and future trends through our technologically diverse product portfolio.As a Cost Analyst you will transition BU level costing activities to finance CoE, perform product costing activities in SAP, establish process for analysis of variances and provide business insights.Key responsibilities include single point contact for SAP product costing, review of materials pending for cost release, end-to-end support for release of standard costs, conduct reviews to ensure accuracy of standard costs, review and validate master data components, analyze procurement transactions, identify cause for price variance, review exceptions and abnormal variances, liaise with markets to take corrective action, factory variance analysis and consolidation, develop reports providing insights into price and factory variances, review of gross stocks, calculate variance based on group accounting policy, adherence to standard methodology for calculation of provisions, bring improvements in process as required, deep dives into transactions and processes, validation of dashboards and reports, provide guidance to markets relating to standard processes and methodologies in areas related to costing and inventory valuation, liaison with technology teams in resolution of issues with reports and processes.Required SkillsCosting and financial management experienceSAP knowledge and expertiseStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We OfferA competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, a dynamic and supportive work environment, and a chance to make a meaningful contribution to our organization's success.Join Our TeamWe are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Cost Analyst.
