Financial Analyst Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, generating reports, and forecasting trends to support business decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Examine financial statements, cash flow, and performance metrics.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Monitor key financial indicators and provide insights to management.Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist in developing comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts.Track budget variances and provide explanations for deviations.Support scenario planning and financial modeling.Data Modeling & Insights:Build and maintain sophisticated financial models (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).Interpret data trends and provide recommendations for business improvement.Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses.Business Support:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs.Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, investments, and projects.Review financial performance of departments and products.Compliance & Documentation:Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements.Prepare documentation for audits and reviews.Maintain accurate and organized financial records.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros preferred).Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools.Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Desired Skills:Knowledge of financial software (QuickBooks, Xero).Proficiency in SQL and database management.Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
