Mainframe Engineering LeadThis role is about spearheading the Mainframe Platform as a whole, driving strategic direction and ensuring its seamless operation. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with data centers, hardware, operating systems, storage, databases, middleware, networking, disaster recovery, scheduling, and batch processing.Lead a team of Mainframe Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), mid-level, and junior employees to provide exceptional Mainframe services to global clients.Have in-depth knowledge of IBM z15, z16, and z17 hardware, as well as Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR setup.Familiarity with both IBM and EMC disk and tape storage hardware, software, and replication is essential.z/OS v3.x, JES2/JES3, DFSMS, SNA/VTAM & TCP/IP, RMF/SMF are key technologies to master.Understanding of Mainframe Data Center Architecture, including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, MGM, 2/3/4 site GDPS & GDDR is crucial.Mainframe DB2, IMS, IDMS, MQ, CICS, WAS, CA7, CA11, CA1, OmegaMon, BMC AMI suite, Rocket Software Zeke, Zara, Zena are some of the required skills.Mainframe Security RACF, ACF2, Top Secret require expertise.Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning skills are necessary for success.Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills are critical tasks.Knowledge of IBM and EMC HW and Replication methodology is vital.Mainframe Data Center Physical Planning and Design skills are essential.Mainframe Tools–SIEM (Q-Radar), z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automation need to be mastered.Mainframe MIPS Optimization and Software rationalization require expertise.We're looking for individuals who can drive Mainframe Modernization and Exit strategies forward.Requirements:Mainframe experience ranging from 10 to 15 years. Must be based in Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad.
