Job Role OverviewThe ETL QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data pipelines and APIs. This critical role requires strong hands-on experience in ETL testing, data validation, and API testing.Key responsibilities include:Testing ETL pipelines across cloud/on-prem environments, validating source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and SCD logic.Performing data completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation testing, including Informatica IDMC/IICS CDI mappings, taskflows, and ingestion patterns.Creating test scenarios using mapping documents, BRDs, and ETL workflows, as well as developing test plans, test cases, and test data.Working closely with integration teams to test upstream/downstream interfaces, validate JSON/XML schema structure, status codes, and pagination logic.Preferred MDM Testing involves testing match/merge rules, survivorship, trust settings, workflows, and golden record creation, validating SaaS configurations, data cleansing, and DQ rules.Required skills and qualifications include:4-7 years of QA experience with strong ETL testing background.Mandatory experience in API testing using Postman/Swagger/SoapUI.Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.Experience working with Informatica IDMC/IICS, especially CDI.This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
