Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Vice President of Analytics to lead our analytics strategy and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will oversee the development and execution of reporting, analytics and advanced analytics initiatives, leveraging data to enhance business performance and support strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key business challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through analytics.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee resource allocation, project management, and team performance, ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Drive the development of analytical models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Define and implement an analytics delivery model for build and deployment of various analytical apps and solutions. Implement and maintain the analytics platforms for entire organization
- Ensure that analytical outputs effectively inform business strategies, marketing efforts, and operational efficiencies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional teams, infra and apps teams and business units, to understand their AI needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Tools & Technology:
- Stay updated on emerging analytics technologies and methodologies; recommend and implement tools that enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Oversee the integration of analytics solutions into existing systems and workflows.
- Performance Measurement:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of analytics initiatives on business outcomes.
- Conduct regular reviews of analytics projects and strategies to ensure alignment with evolving business needs.
Innovation & Best Practices:
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and analytics innovation across the organization.
- Promote best practices in analytics, data governance, and data quality to enhance the effectiveness of analytics initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 18+ years of experience in analytics or data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing analytics strategies that drive business results.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
