In 2023, our professional team, Punjab Football Club made history by being the first club to be promoted to the ISL.Learn more: About the role:The Fan Engagement Senior Associate will play a key role in building and energizing the club's fan base across schools, colleges, communities, events, and matchdays. This person will lead on-ground activations, manage fan databases, support digital campaigns, and help deliver a top-class matchday experience for both Punjab FC and Roundglass Sports entities.What you'll do:*Fan Engagement Strategy Development:Develop and execute a comprehensive fan engagement strategy that aligns with the PFC and Roundglass Sports' long-term goals and brand vision.Identify and segment key fan demographics and develop tailored engagement strategies for each group.Lead the conceptualization and execution of fan engagement campaigns for our school & college outreach program, matchdays, special events, and community initiatives.*Fan Experience Management:Coordinate matchday & event fan experiences, including giveaways, stadium activations, contests, and crowd engagement activities.Oversee and continuously improve the fan experience both in-venue and online, ensuring fans have exceptional and memorable interactions with PFC and Roundglass Sports.Monitor and evaluate fan sentiment through surveys, feedback, and social media to understand their needs and expectations.*Community & Grassroots Engagement:Lead, plan, and execute fan engagement activities across Punjab, including school/college visits, fan clubs, and football/other sports tournaments.Develop and manage a school and college outreach program to engage younger fans and nurture long-term loyalty to the club.Build strong relationships with local fan clubs, schools, and football communities to foster grassroots support for PFC and Roundglass Sports.Represent the club at various PFC and Roundglass Sports fan outreach events, ensuring brand values are upheld and fostering community support.*Digital Fan Engagement:Collaborate with social team to run online contests, fan content initiatives, and digital engagement campaigns in collaboration with the social media team.Develop innovative digital campaigns to increase fan interaction and keep the fanbase engaged year-round, not just on matchdays.*Data & Reporting:Maintain and organize fan data, feedback, and campaign reports using tools like Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and analysis.Manage & operate the PFC Fan community on WhatsApp.Provide insights and detailed reports on fan engagement metrics to senior management, helping to refine strategies and improve outcomes.Keep a close watch on competitor sports clubs and their fan engagement activities, reporting key insights to the team to ensure PFC and Roundglass Sports stays ahead of trends.*Team Leadership &Collaboration:Guide and develop the junior fan engagement resource, and oversee agency event coordinators and community managers to ensure seamless execution of all fan activation plansCollaborate with social, PR, branding and other operations support teams like finance, legal, procurement to execute fan engagement activations.Collaborate with marketing, communications, ticketing, and commercial teams to ensure fan engagement initiatives align with overall club goals and sponsorship opportunities.Liaise with community partners, volunteers, and vendors for on-ground events, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.*Brand & Community Representation:Represent PFC and Roundglass Sports at various outreach events, ensuring that the club's values and brand identity are accurately portrayed in all engagements.Build relationships with local influencers, sports bloggers, communities, and media to amplify fan engagement initiatives.Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of relevant experience in Fan Engagement or Brand activations/events.Graduate or Postgraduate in Sports Management or Marketing related fields.Previous projector full-time work experience with sports clubs/teams.Strong communication skills in English & Hindi, Punjabi is an add-on.Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and basic digital tools.Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours/days in a week, especially during matches, and events in Punjab and across North India.Outgoing, hands-on, enthusiastic team player with a creative mindset.Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.Passion for football and understanding of Indian sports culture.Why Roundglass:Roundglass was built on the vision that wellbeing should be at the very center of our life journey.
