Data Engineer Liaison

Job DescriptionIn this role, you will serve as the technical liaison between our organization and clients – a trusted partner for their IT requirements – as the primary engineer on the project, collaborating with cross-functional teams both internally and externally.You are a customer-facing data engineer who genuinely enjoys resolving complex problems and can handle client expectations while working on intricate technical issues under pressure.You're comfortable working across diverse teams and are not afraid to delve into data and code to deliver tangible results.You thrive in high-pressure environments and understand what it means to be a trusted technical advisor to some of the world's largest enterprises.Key Responsibilities:Implement data pipelines and integrations utilizing Uniphore's CDP platform and supporting componentsCollaborate with Solution Architects, Solution Consultants, Engagement Managers, and Product Engineers to deliver on complex customer projectsServe as the primary technical contact and trusted advisor for clients alongside the Solution ArchitectCoach and mentor junior Data Engineers on the teamDesign and configure workflows based on client business needs using SQL, Python, and cloud infrastructureBuild data models that support personalization, lookalike modeling, and omnichannel activationEstablish ETL pipelines across disparate sources and create unified customer viewsConfigure Uniphore product features and external data connections (APIs, S3, etc.)Produce detailed technical documentationProactively identify and resolve blockers to ensure project timelines are metProvide valuable feedback for our product team, full-stack, and backend engineering teams
