Job Role SummaryThe Microsoft 365 Administrator and Platform Engineer role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and business acumen to administer and support Microsoft 365 tenant, encompassing identity, security, device management, and collaboration services. Key responsibilities include:Managing user accounts lifecycle: joiners/movers/leavers, access reviews, group-based access, licensing, mailbox management, secure authentication.Configuring and maintaining core Microsoft 365 workloads: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online & OneDrive, Intune / Endpoint Manager.Troubleshooting issues across authentication, device, client configuration, and service health.Secondary tasks involve designing and building internal applications and integration services on Azure to support Operations, developing REST APIs and integration services using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and implementing solutions with quality: error handling, observability, monitoring, documentation.Key RequirementsStrong hands-on capability with Microsoft 365 administration, Azure services, and development.Confident troubleshooting across authentication, device, client, and service health.PowerShell scripting: Microsoft 365 modules for automation and support playbooks.Understanding of identity, access, security controls, and compliance in Microsoft 365.Demonstrable experience administering an enterprise Microsoft 365 tenant, strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security/compliance exposure, and ITIL familiarity are desirable skills.
