Job Title: Test Assurance SpecialistThe role of the Test Assurance Specialist involves ensuring that high-quality testing standards are utilized across all products and systems within an organization's applications portfolio. This is a critical position that requires a motivated and self-driven individual with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.As a key member of the Technology team, the Test Assurance Specialist will be responsible for manual planning, test execution, and process improvement. Additional responsibilities include maintaining automated testing frameworks and test cases, as well as collaborating with QA and Development teams to drive and improve delivery processes.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience: At least 8 years of professional experience in Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & reportingTechnical Skills: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, building frameworks, and writing scripts using languages such as Java or JavaScriptSoftware QE Concepts: Strong understanding of software quality engineering concepts, recommended practices, and methodologies covering functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UATAgile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologiesProject Management: Ability to manage multiple test events and projects simultaneouslyTools and Software: Familiarity with Jira, ALM, TFS/ADO, or similar systems of record, as well as API testing tools and automation (Rest-Assured, SoapUI, Postman, SOAtest or CA LISA etc.)What You Will Bring to the RoleAttention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and analytical thinkingQuality Assurance Best Practices: Working knowledge of quality assurance/quality management best practicesTeamwork: Good character and a great attitude, comfortable wearing many hats and functioning well in a fast-paced company environmentCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skillsBusiness Process Understanding: Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes
