We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team.Job Description:This role involves end-to-end testing of APIs, ensuring they function as expected and meet the required standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining API automation suites using Postman, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Playwright.The ideal candidate will work closely with backend engineers and product teams to guarantee quality and stability before every release. This includes designing, creating, and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test data for robust coverage.The successful candidate will also drive release readiness by providing QA sign-offs and supporting UAT/production validations.Key Responsibilities:Own end-to-end testing of APIs — including functional, integration, regression, contract, and negative scenarios.Build and maintain API automation suites using Postman, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Playwright.Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure quality and stability before every release.Design, create, and review test plans, test cases, and test data for robust coverage.Drive release readiness by providing QA sign-offs and supporting UAT/production validations.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should have strong hands-on experience in manual API testing using Postman, REST, JSON, and Swagger. Additionally, proven automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based tools (Playwright preferred) is essential.You should also possess a solid understanding of HTTP protocols, authentication, webhooks, and databases (MongoDB/MySQL). Excellent debugging and log analysis skills to identify and resolve issues effectively are also required.Bonus Skills:Exposure to fintech, payments, or Web3 flows (on-ramp, off-ramp, checkout, KYC, etc.).Awareness of performance and security testing tools such as JMeter or K6.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control and automation.
