Motion Production Director

Job Overview:We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Motion & Post-Production Lead to shape and elevate the craft of motion design, CGI, and post-production within a global creative production hub.This role combines creative vision with technical leadership, ensuring high-end delivery across motion graphics, special effects (SFX), visual effects (VFX), CGI, compositing, animation, color grading, and finishing.The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team of artists, animators, and editors who bring static campaigns to life — turning creative ideas into cinematic brand experiences for clients across retail, digital, and life sciences.Key roles and responsibilities include leading the end-to-end motion and post-production pipeline, driving excellence across 2D/3D animation, compositing, tracking, rotoscoping, color grading, and finishing, collaborating closely with creative directors, producers, and account teams to interpret briefs into motion-first executions, ensuring the highest visual fidelity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines across deliverables, being hands-on in motion graphics, VFX, CGI, and color workflows using industry-standard tools, directing and reviewing the work of designers, compositors, and editors to maintain the studio's creative benchmark, introducing new motion design techniques, animation trends, and post-production workflows to enhance storytelling, supervising pack-shot adaptation, beauty retouching, and complex compositing across global campaigns, establishing best practices and workflow templates for motion and post projects across short-form, digital, and broadcast media, defining rendering, file-management, and QC standards to ensure delivery consistency, partnering with automation and technology teams to identify automation or AI-assisted opportunities, managing studio capacity, scheduling, and quality control for multiple simultaneous projects, leading, mentoring, and upskilling a team of motion designers, compositors, colorists, and editors, driving internal training on new software, motion trends, and cinematic design principles, building a strong creative feedback culture balancing mentorship with performance accountability, partnering with recruitment to onboard top creative and technical talent in the motion and post-production space, working closely with regional teams to align motion output with campaign needs and market nuances, collaborating with the Digital, Print, and Automation teams to ensure seamless integration of motion assets in multi-channel campaigns, engaging in new business pitches and creative development discussions providing technical insight and creative elevation.Requirements:The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in motion graphics, post-production, VFX, and CGI preferably within large advertising, film, or creative-production environments. Deep hands-on proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema4D, Maya, Houdini, Blender, Nuke, Fusion, or Flame for compositing, DaVinci Resolve for color grading and finishing, strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, lighting, camera, and timing, proven experience leading teams delivering broadcast, digital, and short-form video content at scale, strong eye for composition, detail, and brand expression through motion, familiarity with AI-assisted tools for video enhancement, rotoscoping, and content generation, experience collaborating with sound, music, and VO production to complete audiovisual packages, experience in studio setup, pipeline design, and workflow automation for motion/VFX, exposure to AR/VR, 3D visualization, or immersive content creation, knowledge of scripting or plug-in integration for efficiency, experience in color management workflows, prior leadership in a creative production, post house, or integrated agency environment.
