We plan to set up 1000 beds across 40 units for adult, acute inpatient care across India. Additionally, we have aspirations to expand into specialized segments of de-addiction, child development disabilities, dementia care, etc.


About the Role

Sukoon is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on financial closing and reporting. He/she will be responsible for overseeing monthly MIS, controlling reports, compliance checks, monthly book closure, and coordination with auditors. Experience with ERP implementation is a must. The ideal candidate for this role:

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly MIS Reporting:

  • Prepare and present Monthly Information System (MIS) reports, providing detailed insights into financial performance.
  • Analyze variances and provide recommendations for financial improvement.


Controlling Reports:

  • Develop and maintain financial controlling reports to monitor key financial metrics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to support decision-making processes.


Compliance Overview:

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks and audits to maintain financial integrity.


Monthly Book Closure:

  • Oversee the monthly book closure process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.


Auditor Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Facilitate audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.


ERP Implementation:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the ERP system within the finance department.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the ERP system with existing financial processes and reporting requirements.
  • Provide training and support to finance team members on the ERP system.


Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and budgeting activities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial data and ensure integrated financial reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members.


Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proven experience in ERP implementation and management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.


Compensation:

  • Annual salary range: 18-20 lacs, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
