**Job Description:**The primary responsibility of the Accounts Administrator is to manage daily accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. This includes maintaining up-to-date records in Tally, ensuring timely booking of income, expenses, and purchases.Key responsibilities include:Performing daily accounting entries in Tally, including expense booking, income booking, and purchase bookingMaintaining accurate classification of ledger heads and ensuring error-free data entryConducting periodic reconciliation of income, expenses, bank statements, vendor and customer balances, and GST reconciliationEnsuring timely collection and verification of bills/invoices from relevant departmentsPreparing statutory returns, including monthly GST return (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) and quarterly TDS returnAssisting in handling GST and TDS queries and maintaining working papersFOLLOWING Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring 100% complianceMaintaining systematic and well-organised physical and digital documentation of all accounting recordsCoordinating with internal departments to resolve document-related and accounts-related discrepanciesAssisting in month-end closing activities and MIS preparation when required**Required Skills & Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (Travel industry experience preferred but not mandatory)Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS ExcelGood understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST & TDS)Strong attention to detail and discipline in following SOPsAbility to maintain organised documentation and meet deadlines
