The ideal candidate will have 6 -10 years of experience and hold a CA/CS qualification. This position will play a critical role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic planning within our manufacturing operations.Job ResponsibilitiesBook Close and Compliance:Closing books of account on monthly bais and preparing book closure schedules.Preparing Financial statements including PL, Balance Sheet and Cash FlowStatutory and Tax Audit, of standalone financialsTracking actual cost v/s Budget for support FunctionsParticipate in compliance with companies Act 2013 requirements like CSR, Related party, CAROLiaise with third party accounting, tax service providers and other consultants on Local regulatory/ accounting/ audit compliancesStrong Knowledge of IndAS/IFRSOperations and accounting:- Review/prepare month end accruals, intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, income statement trend analysis;- Financial reporting and analysis to various stakeholders to support decision making- Participate in special finance projects, with an eye to automate processes- Work with onshore and offshore finance team within Apotex, to monitor all transactions and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accounting operationsJob RequirementsEducation, Experience and Skills:- Qualification – CA/CS with 6 to 10 Years of experience- Working knowledge on IFRS and IND AS, Accounting polices- AR/AP- Inventory accounting- Capex and Fixed asset accounting and disposal- Experience with SAP and paperless accounting and documentation- Secretarial compliance , accounting compliance- Audit management- Working knowledge on taxation – Direct/Indirect- Self-driven , Challenge status quo , Attention to detail are few attributes- Experience of preparation/audit on financial statements, disclosure- Hands on experience with SAP will be an added advantage- Excellent Analytical Skills- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
