TCS is looking for Azure Architect

Experience: 8-12 years

Location: PAN India


Required Technical Skill Set: Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Bricks, Microservices Architecture, Node JS, Postgres SQL.


Must have skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or a related field, from reputed institutes with 15+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of relevant experience in Azure.
  • Must be Azure Solution Architect certified.
  • Able to translate business and technical requirements into Azure Cloud Architectural components.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data bricks, Data Lake, PAAS, Azure Functions, Big data concepts like hive/spark, Python, Node JS Microservices Architecture.
  • Should have hands on Load Balancing, DevOps, IAAS.
  • Strong Database knowledge. Postgres SQL is preferable.
  • Strong Team handling experience.


Good to have skills:

  • Experience with Agile project management.
  • Strong business writing/presentation development skills.
  • Knowledge cost optimal design, ETL. Azure IOT, Blockchain.
  • knowledge/experience on Messaging Queuing, Git, SVN.
  • JavaScript and any front-end technologies like Angular/React.
  • Experience in Retail/CPG domain would be a plus.


Responsibilities / Expected Deliverables:

  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers for End-to-end Integration.
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
  • Improve functionality of existing systems. Implement secure and optimized solutions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
