Job Summary: Saxon AI is seeking an experienced Azure Data Presales Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, specifically within the Azure ecosystem, and possess hands-on expertise with Databricks, Data Lakes (Gen 2), and data processing technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their data architecture needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Design and present innovative data solutions using Azure services, focusing on Databricks, Data Lakes (Gen 2), and Azure Fabric.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Demonstrate the value of our solutions through technical workshops and proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data ingestion, processing, and analytics using Python, Scala, and Spark.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Azure technologies to enhance our offerings.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Azure Databricks and Data Lakes (Gen 2).
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, and Spark for data processing.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Fabric and its application in data solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven track record in a presales or technical architect role, preferably in data analytics or cloud solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).

Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance.
