Job Title: VLSI Design for Testability ExpertCompany: Not Specified We are seeking a skilled professional to assume a crucial role in the testability and manufacturability of complex ASICs and SoCs. This position requires a deep understanding of DFT methodologies, enabling the implementation and optimization of effective strategies.The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design and verification teams to achieve high test coverage and manufacturability goals for next-generation integrated circuits.Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate DFT techniques into the design flow.Develop comprehensive DFT strategies including scan insertion, ATPG, and Boundary Scan (JTAG) insertion.Utilize advanced DFT tools and methodologies to achieve high fault detection rates and optimal test coverage.Conduct thorough analysis of test results, identify potential design issues, and recommend corrective actions.Develop and maintain detailed DFT test plans and reports to ensure adherence to industry standards.Participate actively in design reviews, providing expert guidance on DFT feasibility and optimization.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in DFT tools, methodologies, and best practices within the industry.Contribute continuously to the improvement of the DFT process within the team.Qualifications:Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.Have 4-20 years of solid experience in Design for Testability (DFT) for ASICs or SoCs.Possess in-depth knowledge of DFT concepts, including scan insertion, ATPG, BSCAN, fault modeling, and test coverage analysis.Demonstrate proven ability to independently implement and optimize DFT strategies.Be well-versed in industry-standard DFT tools, such as Synopsys DFT Compiler and TetraMAX.Experience with scripting languages like Perl or TCL for automation is beneficial.Have a strong understanding of digital design principles, including combinational logic and sequential logic.Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving high test quality.Display effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.Opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and complex projects.A collaborative and dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.Recognition and rewards for outstanding contributions.
