Talent Acquisition Head

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Acquisition Head with 10 -12years’ experience to lead our recruitment team. The ideal candidate will lead the strategic manpower planning and recruitment process to ensure that suitable candidates are selected and recruited in line with the business requirements and organizational standards.
Strategy Formulation and Planning
- In conjunction with functional heads and CEO office, prepare the annual manpower plan and recruitment roadmap; translate the same into quarterly action plans; and monitor the execution of the same.
- Proactively identifying niche skills or niche jobs that the organization’s strategy could benefit from
- Focus on diversity into the staffing process and ensure the diversity ratio of the workforce is strengthened.
- Build recruitment dashboard and leverage data analytics to streamline and strengthen the TA process.
- Drive efficiency through recruitment specific automation
Team Management
- Seek to continually improve the effectiveness of the team and its delivery against plan.
- Responsible for the continued performance and development of the team.
- Responsible for work allocation within the team including when to use direct sourcing or external search organizations and building a network of external agencies to provide cost effective and efficient support to the business.
- Supervise the recruiting team and review/report on their performance.
Recruitment Management
- Ensure timely closure of recruitment requisitions.
- Develop and lead campus recruitment program.
- Update guidelines and SOP for end-to-end recruitment. Monitor the adherence to the guidelines.
- Checking on salary fitment and role alignment; as per the best industry practices.
- Drive and hold ownership for end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership positions, in coordination with group HR Head and functional stakeholders.
- Monitor the team to effectively deliver centralized recruitment activities like drafting and issuing offer letter & appointment letter, timely document verification and reference checks.
- Plan and execute strategies on recruitment channels and sources (including where to post, where to source etc.).
- Strengthen the employee referral program.
- Ensure job descriptions are created for each position.
- Plan and conduct training programs for hiring managers.
Stakeholder management & Social Media Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, along with developing a robust internal job posting system and word-of-mouth networks.
- Monitor the timely postings of vacancies across multiple job sites; ensure timely downloads of resumes and circulate the same.
- Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners.
- Nurture employer brand through implementation of Employer branding framework, create and project employee value proposition in coordination with HR Head.
- Oversee social media and digital channels in recruitment context.
Process compliance and Process improvement
- Implement the recruitment policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to effectively improve the talent acquisition process and manpower planning activities.
- Introduce improvements to the hiring process and employment contracts when necessary to ensure alignment with best practices and any change in the business strategy.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices.
- Develop a culture of ownership and accountability with a high emphasis on internal client and candidate satisfaction.
- Identify recruitment issues and develop corrective action plans quickly and communicate transparently with the business and HR stakeholders.
- Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques.
- Stay up to date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
- User department and candidate satisfaction score.
