EDI Implementation SpecialistThe EDI Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and optimization of our electronic data interchange (EDI) capabilities. This position requires a unique blend of technical proficiency, project management, and collaborative skills to implement, manage, and enhance EDI systems and workflows.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the setup, maintenance, and configuration of partner integrations to ensure seamless data exchange.Maintain optimal performance through routine system monitoring and troubleshooting.Implement EDI standards and new transaction types based on business and partner requirements.Evaluate EDI processes for opportunities to improve and streamline data flows for enhanced efficiency and ease-of-use.Projects and Implementation:Participate and lead EDI implementation initiatives and projects to drive business value.Collaborate with SAP teams and EDI providers to ensure successful project outcomes.Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) and other EDI stakeholders to facilitate data exchange.Data Mapping and Transaction Handling:Develop and maintain accurate data maps and transaction sets to ensure compliance and data integrity.Analyze and transform data to meet business requirements.Ensure accuracy and compliance in all data transactions.Technical Support and Training:Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and incident handling to resolve EDI-related issues.Train internal teams on processes and systems to enhance their abilities to resolve EDI issues independently.Academic & Formal Qualifications:Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).Excellent problem-solving skills.Demonstrated customer focus with ability to meet project timelines.Experience working in ambiguous environments.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.At least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions, including working with warehouse and logistics transactions.Project management experience.Team leadership experience.Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
