AS400 Specialist OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional results on the AS400 platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in IBM iSeries environments and be proficient in various programming languages and tools.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement software solutions using RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, and other related technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and efficient data management.Develop and maintain complex database structures using DB2/400 and provide technical support for system administrators.Provide expert-level guidance on Agile/Scrum methodologies and assist in implementing project management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AS400 technology to drive innovation and process improvements.Foster a culture of quality and excellence by promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to industry standards.Requirements:Minimum 5-10 years of experience in AS400 development and administration.Expertise in at least one of the following areas: RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, Query/400, QM Query, ASC Sequel, CLP/CLLE, MQ, Data queue, JIRA, Service Now, SFTP, IFS, DB2/400, TAATOOL, RDI, and Arcad.Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.What We Offer:A dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.A competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits program.The opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.A recognition program that rewards innovation and excellence.
