About the RoleAs a senior technical support engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced product expertise to our largest customers.You will work closely with other team members in Atlassian offices globally to improve our support capabilities, capacity, and quality for our largest customers.The role involves troubleshooting complex tickets, communicating progress updates, action plans, and resolution details to customers at an executive level.Additionally, you will participate in customer-facing calls, assist global teammates in driving long-running tickets to resolution, and challenge others to provide context and rise to tough occasions.Requirements include 8+ years of experience in Java support, software services, and system administration for a large end-user community, as well as experience with operating systems, networks, and technologies such as proxies, load balancers, LDAP, Active Directory, and SSL.QualificationsSubject Matter Expertise in multiple Atlassian productsExperience being Subject Matter Expert in multiple Atlassian products Identify knowledge opportunities when new technologies are included and multiply the knowledge within the team (Synchrony, AWS, Azure)Ability to communicate as the internal expert with customers at an executive level on in-depth technical details, progress, and next stepsSolving complex tickets, summarizing cause, recommending solutions, and escalatingBeing the customer champion by being the voice of the customerCoaching others on how to perform technical, soft skills, and behavioral interviewsAssisting global teammates in driving long-running tickets in your areas of expertise to resolutionBenefitsAtlassian offers a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support employees, their families, and to help them engage with their local community.
