ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Golang + AWS Architect with strong expertise in database design, solution architecture, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable systems, analyzing existing architectures, and delivering robust, cloud-native solutions. This role requires exceptional technical depth, strong logical reasoning, and the ability to work closely with customers and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective engineering solutions.Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Solution Design- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Golang on AWS.- Analyze existing application and database architectures to identify improvement opportunities and propose optimized solutions.- Create architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and solution frameworks for new and existing projects.- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices. Database Design & Optimization- Design logical and physical database structures aligned with business and application requirements.- Review, optimize, and refactor existing database schemas to improve performance, normalization, and scalability.- Define standards for data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and storage strategies. Cloud Architecture (AWS)- Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS services, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.- Provide hands-on guidance on services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and IAM.- Work closely with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (ECS/EKS). Client & Stakeholder Management- Act as the technical point of contact for customers, driving technical discussions and solution walkthroughs.- Translate client requirements into technical strategies and actionable engineering tasks.- Present architecture recommendations, POCs, and design decisions in a clear and professional manner. Leadership & Collaboration- Guide engineering teams, conduct code/architecture reviews, and mentor developers.- Ensure adherence to architecture best practices, coding standards, and quality benchmarks.Required Skills & Experience:- Strong hands-on expertise in Golang and backend architecture.- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native design principles.- Proven experience in database design, schema modeling, and performance tuning.- Excellent logical reasoning, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.- Strong customer communication skills with a track record of managing stakeholders.- Ability to understand complex legacy systems and propose modern architecture solutions.- 8–14 years of experience in backend development, cloud architecture, or technical leadership (adjust as needed).
