Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a professional environment.The successful candidate will provide legal and administrative support to our Executive team, acting as the primary point of contact for all matters related to compliance and governance. They will be responsible for drafting routine correspondence and legal documents, managing and organizing legal files and documents, and handling phone calls, emails, and other communications.The Compliance Specialist will also conduct legal research to gather relevant information for cases, assist in the preparation of legal arguments, motions, and briefs, and summarize legal documents and precedents. Additionally, they will prepare and format legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and affidavits, file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies, and ensure that documents comply with legal procedures and regulations.The role requires strong IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team is essential. Strong critical thinking and sound decision-making skills are also required.The successful candidate will have a full-time degree in Corporate Law and significant experience in drafting contracts and agreements. Exposure to international law is highly desirable.
