Job Summary :

We are looking for a creative print designer, who has expertise in Develop innovative design concepts by integrating trends, fabric expertise, and brand positioning while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products on time and within budget. Drive seasonal collections, research, and creative storytelling using design tools to meet market demands and customer expectations.

Experience: 6+ years in Creative Print Designing in Textiles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts by integrating international forecasted trends with domestic influences, considering manufacturing strengths (from farming to fashion), target consumers, and brand positioning.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of fabric bases, natural fibers, new blended fabrics, and finishes.
  • Explain design concepts, provide storytelling, and deliver technical product presentations.
  • Collaborate with brand designers, sales, and buying teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Interact with the product development team to create trendy, innovative products on time.
  • Attend domestic and international fairs to understand trends, innovation, and brand research.
  • Ensure the final product meets targeted pricing set by the customer.
  • Work on range planning, product mapping, and competitor brand analysis to maximize design success.
  • Participate in seasonal collection development activities.
  • Research ideas, experiment with color, design, and texture for innovative creations.
  • Create print designs using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Take responsibility for periodic backups of design files.
  • Check and approve finished samples for quality.
  • Produce samples and convert them into garments for end-use presentations.
  • Attend sales meetings with data on seasonal collections, performance comparisons, and product remarks.
  • Follow inspirational designers, fashion icons, creative design resources, and tools to stay updated.

Skills Required:

  • Highly creative design ideas and strong visualization skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional interactions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Maintain ownership and accountability for all design-related tasks.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to staying updated on trends and innovations.

Education Qualifications:

  • Textile designing from a reputed college.
