Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Practice Lead - Embedded Systems

We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, AI implementation in the Engineering process, and will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation. Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems. Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
• Develop and enforce quality standards for embedded system development. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training sessions to enhance team capabilities. Share knowledge through workshops and seminars.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in embedded system development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, familiarity with Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience in embedded systems development with good understanding of embedded software development, including C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller architectures and communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Knowledge of FPGA, System design, verification and validation, and test automation.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies with proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to production
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with IoT applications and gen AI integration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
