Inventory Planner (Contractual) Duration: 1 YearLocation: Delhi, IndiaWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Planner to support our team in managing and optimizing inventory across our retail and warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, numbers, and manual processes, and wants to gain hands-on experience in inventory control and demand planning.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORManage article master data and ensure accuracy across product information.Drive end-to-end replenishment planning and execution for retail and wholesale channels, including non-sellable items like testers and samples.Oversee inventory health through regular physical vs. system reconciliations.Conduct product performance analysis such as ABC, fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving classifications.Optimise inventory distribution and stock levels across channels to improve availability and reduce ageing.Prepare dashboards and insights for S&OP discussions to support business decisions.Analyse fulfilment levels and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with sales and marketing to monitor forecast vs. actual performance and enhance planning accuracy.Track and manage utilisation of testers, samples, and other non-sellable inventory.Maintain an overall inventory performance dashboard highlighting key metrics and trends.Partner with sales and marketing teams to plan for upcoming events and campaigns, ensuring stock readiness. Manual Data HandlingMaintain accurate inventory records through spreadsheets and manual entry tools.Generate reports and dashboards to support key business decisions.Fulfilment service level analysis.Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in current inventory processes and suggest practical improvements.Support the transition to automated or integrated inventory systems.
