Senior AccountantLead a high-performing accounting operations team as a seasoned Senior Accountant with expertise in US GAAP and experience managing financial processes for US-based entities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including monthly/quarterly/annual closing under US GAAP, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Manage and develop a team of accountants; allocate tasks, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and guidance to enhance their skills.Review and finalize financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities to maintain compliance with US accounting standards.Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Prepare, review, and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to support informed business decisions.Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and cross-functional teams for timely filings and audits to minimize risks and ensure compliance.Support the implementation of accounting software and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.Provide actionable insights and analysis to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, enabling data-driven decision making.Requirements:Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent) certification.At least 8 years of overall experience in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role in the finance and accounting department.Direct experience in US Accounting/US GAAP is required, with at least 3 years in this field.Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP compliance is essential.Experience working with US-based clients or within US corporate structures is preferred.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms is necessary.Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools is required.Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage remote teams across time zones.
