Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Migration Specialist. This role involves using technical skills with the support of AI coding assistants to create a streamlined and high-quality method of transforming incoming clients from their legacy platforms to our platform.In this position, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimising complex data migrations. You will also develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt, AWS, and Redshift to efficiently manage and transform large datasets. Additionally, you will build a deep understanding of recruitment CRMs (people, projects, companies) so the thought process becomes second nature.Key Responsibilities:Data Migrations: Design, manage, and optimise complex data migrationsPipeline Development: Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt, AWS, and Redshift to efficiently manage and transform large datasetsData Transformation & Modelling: Build a deep understanding of recruitment CRMs (people, projects, companies)Own the end-to-end process, including the injection of new data into our production environments and supporting customer success to delight the client during this migrationDocumentation: Establish clear, efficient processes for data handling and write documentation for end-to-end pipeline managementRequirements:To succeed in this role, you will need:A high level of experience in SQL, with expertise in building and managing transformation scripts on complex dataThe ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prefer fewer meetings with high quality, rapid alignment, and focus time to deliver tasksCustomer migration experience, with a minimum of 20 customer migrations completed, specifically transforming data to onboard customers into software or solutionsWhat We Offer:As a valued member of our team, you can expect:A competitive salary and bonus per migrationThe opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative companyA collaborative and supportive work environment
