Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Desktop Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving systemic issues impacting end-user experience, driving productivity enhancements through solution implementation.You will collaborate with business partners to understand key challenges affecting productivity, focusing on migration-related issues arising from merger and acquisition activity.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot complex desktop-related issues efficiently through advanced analysis and root cause resolution.Apply in-depth knowledge of Desktop Experience (DEX) to optimize user productivity and satisfaction.Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks.Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of desktop systems.Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing technical concerns and training them on best practices.Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:7-10 years of experience in Windows desktop engineering or a related field.Subject matter expertise in Windows OS internals (kernel, registry, services, drivers, etc.) and working knowledge of OS-level troubleshooting tools.Experience utilizing Unified Endpoint Management tool for managing domain and Entra Windows devices.Strong background in Desktop Experience (DEX) tools for measuring endpoint performance, correlating issues with changes, and user experience optimization.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Nice-to-Have Skills:Certification
