Job Title: Database Administration SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced and skilled DBA to join our team as a Database Administration Specialist.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, specifically with HANA and ASE. This role is responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our databases.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain databases to meet business requirements.Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust backup and recovery processes.Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient use of resources.Analyze and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime.Requirements:5+ years of experience in database administration, preferably with HANA and ASE.Excellent knowledge of database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and indexing.Strong understanding of database security principles and practices.Experience with shift rotation and weekend work (APJ resources only).Very good English communication skills.Preferred Skills:MaxDB and Oracle experience as secondary skills.Benefits:This is a remote job opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.
