Job DescriptionWe are seeking a technical leader to head our software development team.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and coaching to team members, building industry-standard APIs, and driving quality standards. They will also engage in Agile software development activities and promote a culture of software craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and coaching to team members.Build industry standard APIs and Integration Design Patterns.Drive API quality standards and establish a culture of software craftsmanship best practices.Engage in Agile software development activities.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:A BS / MS degree in a technical or scientific field with 12+ years of relevant experience.10 or more years of experience in Java application development.3 or more years of experience developing with RESTful web services.3 or more years of experience with SQL or NoSQL DBMSs (Cassandra, Mongo DB).2 or more years of experience with SDLC (TDD, Test Automation, Agile, and DevOps).2 or more years of experience working with a cloud platform, preferably AWS.3 or more years of demonstrated technical leadership skills.3 or more years of managing a team of technical professionals.5 or more years of experience in roles that require strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.5 or more years of experience in roles that required strong analytical and problem-solving skills.CompetenciesYou should have the ability to:Champion a collaborative environment by empowering team members, demonstrating resilience, being inclusive and building a culture of trust.Build and sustain robust networks across internal and external stakeholders.Use systemic thinking to drive business results and strategic decisions that enhance organizational outcomes.Advocate for customer-focused innovations, model empathy in decision-making, inspiring others to approach problems from the customer's perspective and decisions that reflect an uncompromising commitment to customer safety, fostering trust and loyalty.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in B2B Sales and Support, Contracting and Incentive, and Web Portal applications would be beneficial.
