Proven startup experience, hands-on recruiting experience, and expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and modern cloud architectures are highly desirable.About the Opportunity:We are a high-growth FinTech business publicly listed on the NASDAQ.The role requires you to build a remote high-functioning engineering team from scratch.You will be responsible for leading recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship to ensure long-term success and retention.You will own and oversee system architecture and design, ensuring scalable and secure solutions for consumer-facing platforms.You will establish and manage the engineering development process, driving modern practices in coding, testing, and deployment.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Business) to deliver impactful solutions.You will drive cloud-native development and ensure platform reliability, high performance, and scalability to meet rapid growth needs.Preferred Experience:Proven startup experience: ability to thrive in 0→1 and high-growth environments.Hands-on experience in recruiting engineers, building onboarding programs, and creating successful teams.Background in marketplace businesses or insurance technology is highly desirable.Tech Stack:Languages:, NodeJS, Java, PythonInfrastructure: Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS
