📍 Location: India (Remote)

⏰ Shift: Flexible with 2–3 hours US overlap

🔍 About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant to lead process redesign, optimize project accounting functions, and deliver seamless NetSuite ERP implementation. This role requires a strong blend of finance, operations, and technology expertise with hands-on NetSuite knowledge.

✔️ Hands-on expertise in Oracle NetSuite tools – mandatory

✔️ Ability to partner with developers & technical teams to drive design and implementation

⚡Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process redesign & optimization for project management and accounting in the construction industry.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams for NetSuite ERP implementation & optimization.
• Drive improvements in Project Accounting, including:

- Budgeting

- Costing

- Billing & Revenue Recognition

- Analytics & Profitability Reporting

• Redesign and align R2R (Record-to-Report) processes with industry best practices.
• Bridge finance, operations, and technology teams by translating business needs into scalable solutions.
• Support accounting integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Provide expertise in process documentation, gap analysis, and future-state design.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards & internal controls during transformation.

Additional Functional Expertise:

• Data Management & Migration (CSV imports/exports, validation, cleansing)
• System Integrations with external applications
• Customization & Automation (SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder)
• Optimization & Best Practices for process efficiency
• Training & Documentation (end-user support, adoption, manuals)
• Gap Analysis & Requirement Gathering

🎯 Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ Proven hands-on experience in NetSuite ERP implementation (mandatory):

- Configuration & Setup: Custom fields, forms, records, roles, permissions, workflows (SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder)

-Saved Searches & Reporting: Advanced saved searches, dashboards, and reports tailored to business needs

- Suite Analytics: Workbooks, pivot tables, and advanced data visualization

• 5+ years in process consulting, finance transformation, or ERP implementation.
• Strong expertise in construction project management accounting processes.
• Strong finance & accounting principles knowledge, with ability to bridge business & IT.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Excellent communication skills for global stakeholder collaboration
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset
• Flexible to work with US overlap hours

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA Finance, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory).
• Prior experience in construction or engineering industries.
• Exposure to multi-country accounting processes & compliance.
• Prior experience working with U.S. Client

✨ Nice to Have:

• NetSuite Certification(s)
• Agile delivery experience
• Exposure to multi-entity / high-growth environments
