Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced NetSuite Architect to lead the design, customization, and optimization of our NetSuite SaaS ERP platform . The role requires a deep understanding of Accounting, Finance, and Inventory modules , along with strong technical hands-on expertise in SuiteScript, integrations, solution design, and system architecture . The NetSuite Architect will act as the technical and functional lead , partnering with business leaders to translate requirements into scalable ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design

· Lead the overall NetSuite solution architecture , ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business strategy.

· Define best practices for system design, module configuration, and integrations across Accounting, Finance, and Inventory.

· Stay current with NetSuite’s latest SaaS releases (2025.1 and beyond)and recommend adoption strategies for new features.

Accounting & Finance Modules

· Architect solutions for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition (ARM), Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting .

· Implement and optimize approval workflows, compliance controls (SOX, GAAP/IFRS), and automation for financial processes.

· Design advanced dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for finance leadership.

Inventory & Operations Modules

· Architect and optimize Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, and Warehousing processes .

· Design integrations with logistics, supply chain, and warehouse management systems (WMS/3PL) .

Technical Leadership

· Oversee and review development work (SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL).

· Establish coding standards, deployment processes, and governance frameworks.

· Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT leadership to align NetSuite with enterprise architecture.

· Mentor and guide developers, administrators, and business analysts in solution design and best practices.

Integrations & Data

· Design and oversee integrations with external platforms (banking, CRM, e-commerce, payment gateways, BI tools).

· Define data migration strategies and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance .

· Implement middleware solutions (MuleSoft, or custom APIs) for seamless connectivity.

Required Qualifications

· 10-15 years of NetSuite experience, with 3–5 years in an Architect or Lead role .

· Strong expertise in Accounting, Finance, and Inventory modules .

· Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x/2.1, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteAnalytics.

· Proven track record designing large-scale, multi-subsidiary, multi-currency NetSuite implementations .

· Strong understanding of financial compliance (GAAP, IFRS, SOX)and how to enforce it through NetSuite.

· Experience leading full NetSuite implementations or major upgrades .

· Excellent communication skills; able to interface with executives, finance leaders, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

· NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer II, SuiteFoundation, SuiteAnalytics).

· Middleware integration experience (Workato, MuleSoft etc).
