Job Title:Project Governance SpecialistAbout the Role:This key position is responsible for driving project governance and portfolio management across multiple initiatives. You will lead the PMO function, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and optimizing processes.You will own and manage PMO governance frameworks, ensuring compliance across all projects and programs.Lead development of portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports using advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros/VBA, complex formulas) and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).Drive data analysis and trend identification to support strategic decision-making and resource optimization.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for projects and programs.Facilitate executive governance meetings, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Requirements:5+ years of experience in PMO, program management, or portfolio governance roles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros/VBA, complex modeling, and automation).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).Experience in financial management for projects (budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred.Key Skills:The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and technologies is also required.
