About the Role

Are you passionate about sustainability and finance? We are seeking a Trainee ESG Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our financial operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Analyse ESG data and trends to support investment decision-making.
  • Research and Reporting: Conduct research on ESG risks and opportunities in emerging markets and prepare detailed reports.
  • Compliance and Standards: Assist in ensuring compliance with global ESG standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with investors, regulators, and internal teams to promote sustainable practices.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of ESG strategies for portfolio management.


Who We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, sustainability, environmental science, or related fields.
  • CPD-accredited certifications, such as the ESG Advisor Certificate, are highly valued.

Skills and Traits:

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualisation tools.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for driving sustainable change.

Experience:

  • Prior internships or academic projects in finance, ESG, or sustainability will be an advantage but are not mandatory.
