About the RoleWe’re looking for two data-driven interns to join our Assortment & Space Planning team. The interns will work closely with the Category and Replenishment functions to refine assortment strategy, optimize non-moving inventory, and support curation decisions through data analytics. This role offers hands-on exposure to real retail operations, business problem-solving, and data-based decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze store-level sales, DOH, and inventory data to identify slow-moving SKUs and recommend rationalization actionsSupport assortment curation by benchmarking category performance across states and sub-categoriesBuild and maintain Excel/SQL dashboards and trackers to automate daily/weekly monitoring of assortment health metricsCollaborate with Category Managers and Replenishment teams to drive actionable insights and implement assortment updatesRequirementsStrong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning)Basic working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing large datasetsStrong analytical mindset with an ability to translate data into actionable business insightsDetail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working with large, unclean datasetsPreferred Skills (Good to Have)Prior internship or coursework involving data analytics, supply chain, or category managementUnderstanding of retail metrics such as DOH, GMROI, ADS, and Sell-through
