Job DescriptionThe scope of work involves developing high-quality assessment items aligned to state standards and state assessment tests across 7 states.As a senior content specialist, you will review content alignment and ensure quality and accuracy for English Language Arts (ELA).This project requires developing assessment questions in the style of state test blueprints for ELA grades 3-8 and English I.Assessment items must have a specific distribution of Depth of Knowledge levels.You will collaborate with the Learning Design team to generate and review AI-generated multiple-choice and non-multiple-choice questions.Evaluation criteria include accuracy, pedagogical relevance, and rigor, as well as alignment to standards and Unpacked Standards Measurable Objectives (USMOs).You will also author items, including sources or creating passages as necessary, ensuring they align with specified ELA standards and meet rigour expectations.RequirementsExpertise in English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum and instructionAbility to analyze and evaluate educational content for quality and accuracyExperience with assessment development and implementationFamiliarity with state standards and USMOsStrong communication and collaboration skillsBenefitsThis opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on education and contribute to the development of high-quality assessment items.You will work collaboratively with a team of experts to achieve project goals and objectives.OthersPlease note that this is a highly specialized role requiring significant expertise in ELA curriculum and instruction.If you are passionate about education and possess the required skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
