Senior Technical SpecialistWe are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical reviews, peer reviews, and checks, as well as the ability to provide continuous feedback and contribute to design.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough technical reviews and peer reviews to ensure high-quality designs.Provide constructive feedback to team members on their work, focusing on areas for improvement.Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients, fostering open communication and collaboration.Participate in project meetings, team meetings, and disseminate information within the team.Identify and address potential risk issues, adhering to company commercial and contracting processes.Manage delegated tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion and flagging any resourcing concerns to the team leader.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience in plumbing and fire protection design for commercial and residential buildings, including concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.Strong knowledge of fixture load calculations, pipe pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for hot and cold water and fire protection.Ability to prepare plumbing and fire equipment schedules and bill of quantities (BOQs).Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ASPE, IPC, and NFPA Fire codes and standards.The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
