Medical Administrative AssistantWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Administrative Assistant to support our team.Filling in and creating general compliance paperwork, registration forms, and other forms related to the program. Maintaining electronic medical records and reports. Recording medical history, vitals, and progress notes. Creating summary reports for the client's medical history before their consultation with the doctor/nurse.Working as a team player with the admin team to carry out assigned processes/projects efficiently. Computer knowledge is mandatory. Capable of handling Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and company applications, as well as the clinical portal to make appointments.Client Case Coordination – managing and scheduling medical appointments for clients based on priority.Answering and directing general phone calls. Following scripts. Communicating clearly and directly with clients and other medical professionals. Maintaining up-to-date professional and technical knowledge.Assisting with tasks related to participant enrollments, Medicaid, government waiver approvals, client government and social benefits, compliance, insurance, and billing, and interactions with government and private agencies.Our ideal candidate will possess:Languages: Fluency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.Bachelor's Degree minimum.At least 1 year working in the medical field in an administrative role. More experience preferred.Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and medical terminology.Computer knowledge is mandatory. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat (PDF) editor, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to quickly learn web-based applications.This position offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic work environment.
