Job DescriptionAbout the Role:We are looking for a seasoned engineer to collaborate with our cross-functional Agile product team.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of software development principles and practices, as well as experience working with Java 8 and higher, Spring Boot, SQL databases, and MongoDB.They will be responsible for collaborating with the product owner/business analyst to understand and document requirements, designing and implementing services and APIs, developing scalable information systems, and ensuring timely delivery of commitments.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate and review requirements proposed by the Product Owner / Business Analyst to understand, document, estimate, design, implement, and unit test viable software solutionsDesign and implement services and APIs supporting applications using microservice architecture for application development or data servicesDevelop solid, scalable information systems that support the continuously evolving needs of our clients and internal operational teamsEnsure that information systems scale and support new features for deliveryModify existing software to fix bugs, adapt to new requirements and improve performanceMaintain code quality, test coverage and code reviews following standard guidelinesCollaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure timely delivery of commitmentsRequirements:Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, enterprise-class software on-time and of high qualityGood knowledge in the software development lifecycleWorking knowledge of source control systems like GitExperience working in Agile-oriented teams, especially SCRUM or KanbanPossess good communication skills in English, both written and verbalVery strong problem-solving skills and algorithm knowledgeGood technical skills with knowledge of solution design and application architecture
