Senior Software Engineering Leader

About the RoleThis is a challenging leadership position that requires a senior-level software engineering professional with extensive experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple teams to achieve company objectives, ensuring the overall quality and delivery of applications, and identifying goals and tracking metrics to ensure objectives are met.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellence in management and leadership for multiple teams.Responsible for the overall quality and delivery of multiple applications.Identify goals and tracking metrics to ensure objectives are met and recommend process improvement.Support organizational capacity through staffing, skills development, and acquisition of required tools and technologies.Manage and approve staff performance and discipline plans.Help to attract, recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent.Collaborate effectively across functional teams to deliver high-quality products.Stay focused on customer/market needs.Ensure staff understand and adhere to corporate policies and procedures.Handle escalations that cannot be resolved independently by direct reports.RequirementsMinimum 15+ years of experience in related professional experience.Minimum 7+ years of experience in management of an array of team and department sizes.Mastery level of knowledge of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Demonstrate a growth mindset, seeks feedback often.Strong ability to motivate and influence others.Good coaching and mentoring skills.Ability to easily build new relationships.Comfortable with constructive conflict.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Able to clearly communicate and motivate teams toward a common goal.A servant leader with a demonstrated ability to support self-organizing teams.Willingness to take calculated risks.Ability to make decisions under pressure and own the outcome.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent or equivalent experience in Technology.
